Step 1: Choose Your Hat Style
Most departments start with a classic trucker-style cap like our Standard Issue Station Hat, built on a Richardson 112. From there, you can branch into leather patch hats, boonies, or beanies depending on the season and how your crew likes to wear it. If you don't see the exact style you have in mind, just ask — we can usually source it.
Step 2: Send Us Your Logo or Idea
You'll notice that we offer a good amount of predesigned hats for fire departments. You can customize each hat in various ways. If you want a completely new design or your department's logo embroidered, just send over the file or a clear photo of your department patch, and our team will get to work. We digitize the embroidery design and send back a free mockup — typically within 24 to 72 hours depending on complexity.
Step 3: Review, Approve, and We Get Stitching
Once you sign off on the mockup, production begins. Every hat is embroidered in-house in Bryan, TX — no overseas outsourcing — so you're getting consistent stitch quality and a team you can actually call with questions.
How Many Hats Do You Need to Order?
This is the question we get asked most, and the answer is simple: there's no minimum. Order one hat for yourself or outfit an entire shift. If your order is 12 hats or more, setup fees are waived. Orders under 12 carry a one-time $25 artwork fee to cover digitizing your design, which then stays on file for any future reorders at no extra charge.
Can We Mix Hat Styles and Colors?
Yes. As long as the embroidered design stays the same across the order, you're free to mix hat styles and colors within a single order — useful for departments that let members choose their preferred fit.
What If Something Isn't Right?
If your order isn't up to par, we'll make it right, no questions asked. That's the Anchor Point standard, and it's the same one we'd want if we were the ones placing the order.
